Proto Node Labs Acceptable Use Policy

1. Who this applies to

This policy applies to every Customer and every User of PNL Timesheet, PNL Inventory, PNL Broadcast, PNL-Ops, PNL Scheduler, Website Hosting, our website, and any related app or API. The Customer is responsible for its Users and, for resellers, for its venues.

2. You must not

Break the law or others' rights

• Use the Services for anything illegal, or to help anyone else do so.
• Upload, display, play, send, or store content you do not own or have a license for, including music, video, images, fonts, and ads, or content that infringes copyright, trademark, publicity, or privacy rights.
• Upload or play content recorded or downloaded from streaming services, YouTube, broadcast television, or similar sources without a written license covering your use.
• Use device management, screenshots, GPS, or logs to monitor identifiable individuals beyond what you have told them about and the law allows.
• Collect, store, or process data about people without a lawful basis, including workers' and customers' personal information.
• Send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, or messages that violate CAN-SPAM, the TCPA, or similar laws through or alongside the Services.

Harm the Services or others

• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services or bypass any security or authentication measure.
• Access accounts, data, or devices you are not authorized to access.
• Introduce malware, scripts, or automated traffic that interferes with the Services, or place an unreasonable load on them.
• Scrape or harvest data from the Services except through interfaces we provide.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Services except as your Schedule permits.
• Use the Services to build or train a competing product.

Misrepresent

• Impersonate PNL, another customer, or any person; claim to be PNL's agent or make commitments for PNL.
• Mark content as cleared or licensed when it is not.
• Enter false time, inventory, or financial records to deceive anyone.

Misuse content and AI

• Display content that is obscene, hateful, harassing, defamatory, or that promotes violence, or that is unsuitable for the audience of the venue where it plays.
• Use AI features to generate content that violates this policy, to attempt to extract other customers' data, or to circumvent the features' limits.

Put sensitive data where it does not belong

• Store payment card numbers, Social Security or government ID numbers, health records, biometric identifiers, or data about children under 13 in the Services. They are not designed for it.

3. Reseller venues

If you resell PNL Broadcast to venues, you must flow these rules down to each venue in writing and are responsible for their compliance.

4. What we may do

If we believe a Customer or User has violated this policy, we may, with notice where practical: remove or disable content; take screens off air; suspend features, Users, devices, or the account; terminate the subscription under the Terms; and report unlawful activity to authorities. We are not obliged to monitor content or use, and taking action in one case does not oblige us to in another. Fees continue to accrue during a suspension caused by your violation.

5. Reporting

Report violations, security issues, or infringing content to [email protected]. For copyright notices, follow the process in Schedule 04, section 4.5.

This is version 2026-10-13, effective October 17, 2026. It is the first version published under this numbering, so there are no earlier versions of this document to list. When we publish a new version, earlier versions stay on file and we will send you a copy of any version that applied to you on request at [email protected].
