We have taken as many builds as we can start right now, and we would rather say that than take a deposit against a date we cannot hold. The waitlist is open and it locks everything on this page in for you.

• The waitlist closes September 30, 2026, along with the rest of the promo. Join by then and your $250 and these terms are locked in, even though your build may well kick off after that date.
• You pay nothing to join, and joining is not a commitment. When a slot opens we come to you, in order, and ask whether you still want it. If your situation has changed or you have gone another way, you say no and that is genuinely the end of it. Nothing is owed and nothing is held against you.
• Kickoff is the moment you say yes to that, not the day you join the list. The $125 deposit is due then, and not before.
• The 20 business day clock works like any other build. It starts once we have your logo, photos, and messaging, not when you join the list or at kickoff, and time spent waiting on the list never eats into your build time.

What you pay, and when

• $125 deposit (50%) to start. This reserves your slot. Your build begins once we have your logo, photos, and messaging.
• $125 balance at handoff, when the site is finished and ready to go live.

The deposit is non-refundable once we begin design. We want to be direct about why: the deposit exists because building a site is hours of real work up front, and it protects that time. We normally begin design within 2 business days of receiving your materials. Cancel any time before that and we refund the deposit in full; once design is underway, it is not refundable.

There are exactly two exceptions, and they both run in your favor:

• We decline the project. If we look at what you need and it is not a fit, you get the deposit back in full.
• We miss our delivery deadline. If we blow the 20 business day deadline for reasons that are ours, taking the deposit back is one of three remedies and the choice is yours. See Timeline below for exactly how that works.

There are no other fees from us on the build. No setup fee, no hidden add-ons, no charge for either revision round. If something you ask for falls outside the promo, we will tell you the price before we build it, never after.

Hosting and your domain, after launch

Every website needs two ongoing things to stay online: hosting and a domain name. That is true of any site anywhere, not something specific to us. We would rather you know this before you reach out than after.

Your domain, and how we handle it

A domain is the one ongoing cost that is not part of the $250. It runs roughly $10 to $15 a year, paid straight to whoever it is registered with. We never mark that up and we never take a cut of it.

You do not need to sort this out before you talk to us. At kickoff we check availability on the names you want, and that is when we walk through it together: who registers it, whose account it sits in, and how you want the site hosted once it is built. A couple of those choices are easier to make right the first time than to unpick later, which is exactly why we go through them with you rather than leaving you to guess.

Wherever it ends up, it is yours. The domain goes in your name and stays there, and if you already own one we work with that.

If you keep the site hosted with us, the domain gets pointed at us. That is a one-time change taking about two minutes, and it is what lets us run your DNS, your security certificate, and the protection layer in front of your site. Owning it and pointing it at us are not in conflict: you keep the keys, we do the driving.

It also means leaving is genuinely simple. Point it somewhere else and you are gone the same day, with nothing to request from us and nobody to wait on. That is what "no lock-in" means in practice rather than as a slogan.

Hosting is your choice at handoff

This is an opt-in, not an automatic enrollment, and there is no contract or minimum term either way:

• Keep it hosted with us, $10/mo for your first 12 months. That is the promo rate, down from our standard $15/mo, and it is only for builds that come through this promo. Hosting itself is the cheap part, so here is what the plan gives you: a working contact form that delivers messages straight to your inbox, uptime monitoring, your security certificate and the protection layer in front of the site, and a person who fixes it when something breaks. After 12 months it moves to the standard $15/mo. Cancel any time, including before the 12 months are up.
• Take it and host it yourself, $0/mo to us. We hand over the site files at no charge, and the domain is already in your name, so there is nothing to transfer and nothing to ask us for. A few things worth knowing before you pick this, because we would rather say them now than have you find out later:
  • Hosting a site this size really is free on the platforms we build on, but setting it up is a technical job. We will tell you exactly what it takes.
  • Your contact section (email, phone, and hours) is right on the page and keeps working wherever you host.
  • A working contact form that emails you runs on our infrastructure and comes with a plan. Self-hosting, you would add your own if you want one.
  Plenty of people are better off self-hosting and we will not talk you out of it.

The hosting plan is hosting and uptime only. It does not include content changes, new pages, or new features. Those live on the monthly retainer, and promo builds get a discount there too: starting at $75/mo for your first 12 months instead of our standard starting at $100/mo, then standard pricing after that. "Starting at" is real: the retainer is scoped to your team size and how much we are running for you, so larger scopes are quoted higher. We tell you the number before you commit to anything.

You are not required to take either plan, and nothing auto-renews you onto one. If you want the site and nothing else, that is a completely fine outcome and we will hand it over.

No lock-in, ever. The site is yours. If you leave, you take the domain and the code with you and we hand it to you or your next developer at no charge.

After handoff, upkeep is on whoever hosts it. Your site is live and fully working the day we hand it off. Like any website anywhere, keeping it online over time takes ongoing hosting and upkeep. If you are not on a plan with us after launch, that upkeep is yours to arrange, and we are not responsible for uptime, fixes, or changes once the site is in your hands. Stay on a plan and that is exactly what we cover.

Timeline, and what happens if we miss it

Most people asking about a website want to know how long it takes before they want anything else, so here is a real commitment rather than "it depends."

• Your deadline is 20 business days. That is the commitment, and the clock starts the day we have everything we need from you: logo, photos, and messaging.
• We aim for 10. That is our internal target and most builds land near it. We are not promising it, because a date with a refund attached to it has to be one we can hold on a bad month, not a good one. Treat 10 as what we are working toward and 20 as what you can hold us to.
• Each revision round is 5 business days from when you send us your feedback.

The clock pauses while we are waiting on you

Sometimes we hit a question we genuinely cannot build past, and we will email it to you. You have 2 business days to reply. After that, each further business day adds one business day to the deadline.

We hold ourselves to the same 2 business days on anything you send us during an active build. And the email thread is the record: no logbook, no memory, no argument about who was waiting on whom. Both clocks are read off the same timestamps.

If we miss the deadline, you pick the remedy

If we blow the 20 business days and it is not down to waiting on you, you choose. Not us. You do not have to make a case for it:

1. Take the deposit back and walk. Full $125 returned, and your domain is yours already so there is nothing to untangle. The partial build stays with us.
2. Give us a short extension. Usually about 5 business days to finish it properly, and everything proceeds as normal.
3. Take the work as it stands. We price whatever is actually built, and that price will never be more than the $125 you already paid. In practice that means you keep the deposit money working for you, own what has been made, and owe us nothing further. If what we have built is not worth that, we will say so, charge less, and refund you the difference.

Two housekeeping rules

Your logo, photos, and messaging are due within 14 days of kickoff to hold your slot. If we cannot reach you for 30 days, the project goes on hold and the slot is freed; you can pick it back up by getting in touch. Neither is a gotcha, and if you need longer on either, just say so and we will work with you.
